COUNTYBANK CONTRIBUTES TO HOSPICECARE OF THE PIEDMONT
Greenwood, SC- Countybank
Foundation aides HospiceCare of the Piedmont by making a donation in
support of its special projects.
"Countybank
has made a contribution to us since 1991 supporting our special projects
such as the Festival of Trees, Camp Celebrate Hope, and the Butterfly
Celebration," said Nancy Corley, Executive Director for HospiceCare
of the Piedmont. "We greatly appreciate their generosity and support
which enables Hospice to better meet the needs of those in our community
as they deal with a life-limiting illness."
HospiceCare of the
Piedmont is a non-profit organization that provides care for the terminally
ill in Abbeville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick and Saluda counties.
The non-profit program provides care and services by a highly qualified
team of nurses, home health aides, social workers, and the chaplain
for patients and families.
Countybank began
its service to the Greenwood community in 1933, when it was founded
by a group of Greenwood businessmen. Today, Countybank is a full service,
integrated financial services provider with three full-service locations
and five automatic teller machines. In addition to a full array of traditional
banking products, Countybank is composed of separate divisions that
are positioned to meet specialized financial needs, including Countybank
Trust Services, Countybank Mortgage Services, Countybanc Investments,
Inc., and Countybanc Insurance, Inc. Each division is staffed by the
area's most sought-after professionals in their respective fields to
provide customers with the tools to achieve their financial goals.
